El Hospital San José y el equipo de Salud municipal recibieron hoy la donación de 17 camas ortopédicas, que se usarán en el nuevo sector dispuesto para contener potenciales casos de Coronavirus.
Las camas son marca Hillrom, modelo Advance 2000, y son la consecuencia de una donación del empresario Sebastián Eskenazi, vecino de nuestro distrito. Además de las camas, la donación incluyó el traslado y los colchones de cada una de ellas.
“Agradezco no sólo a la familia Eskenazi, sino a todas las empresas y empresarios que están cooperando con Exaltación de la Cruz en esta coyuntura sanitaria sin precedentes”, dijo el intendente Diego Nanni al recibir las camas, este lunes.
El Jefe Comunal contó que “con la incorporación de estos equipos, tenemos 32 camas en el nuevo sector para Coronavirus, ocho más en Terapia Intensiva, más 30 camas de aislamiento, en caso que fuera necesario”.
Por otra parte, y en el marco de la misma entrega, la subsecretaria de Salud, Guadalupe Bravo, valoró el esfuerzo no sólo de los empresarios sino también de todo el personal de esa cartera, médicos y auxiliares. No obstante, Bravo aclaró: “como profesionales podemos poner lo mejor de nosotros, pero necesitamos que la comunidad nos ayude, respetando las medidas que se vienen difundiendo”.
