El Presidente analizó con gobernadores la continuidad del aislamiento sin muchos cambios. Los mandatarios respaldaron la posibilidad de mantener la cuarentena. Habría menos flexibilización que la esperada.
Los gobernadores respaldaron al presidente Alberto Fernández en la decisión de continuar la cuarentena más allá del 12 de abril, medida que podría ser anunciada el próximo fin de semana con una menor flexibilización de la que se esperaba.
El Presidente encabezó en la quinta de Olivos una extensa videoconferencia con todos los gobernadores del país. Solo estaban presencialmente el bonaerense Axel Kicillof y el Jefe de Gobierno porteño, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta.
Según trascendió, Fernández les comunicó a los mandatarios provinciales que el grupo de expertos que lo asesora le pidió mantener la cuarentena por un tiempo más, y recibió un apoyo cerrado.
De este modo, las flexibilizaciones a la cuarentena total que se especulaba que iban a anunciarse tras el fin de semana de Pascua podrían ser menores a las esperadas. Solo resta definir qué nuevas excepciones podrían incluirse a partir de entonces.
Tras la reunión, Rodríguez Larreta indicó que “el Presidente anunciará en los próximos días cómo continuar. Pero en términos generales la cuarentena sigue”.
La principal preocupación de los expertos que aconsejan a Fernández está en Capital Federal y el Conurbano, donde se encuentra el 70% de los casos y la mayoría de las muertes. También se presta especial atención a los focos de transmisión local, como Chaco, Córdoba, Santa Fe y Tierra del Fuego.

Antes de decidir los pasos a seguir, Fernández recibirá y analizará la situación económica y social de cada provincia, que les encargó hoy a los gobernadores. Con esos datos, el fin de semana anunciará la continuidad de la cuarentena junto con las excepciones que se produzcan.
En tanto, el Presidente anunció el lanzamiento de un programa de asistencia financiera a las provincias por $ 120.000 millones. (DIB).
