La cartera sanitaria informó que fallecieron seis hombres, residentes en la provincia de Buenos Aires de 85, 73, 77 y 83 años; otro de 63 años, en la provincia de Santa Fe; y otro de 60, residente en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires.
También murieron tres mujeres, dos residentes en la provincia de Buenos Aires, de 86 y 88 años; y otra de 94, residente en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires.
Del total de los casos, 929 (17,3%) son importados, 2.372 (44,2%) son contactos estrechos de casos confirmados, 1.597 (29,7%) son casos de circulación comunitaria y el resto se encuentra en investigación epidemiológica.
De los diagnosticados hoy con Covid-19, se registraron en la provincia de Buenos Aires 50 casos, en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires 77, en Chaco 26, en Córdoba 4, en Corrientes 1, en La Rioja 1, en Río Negro 3 y en San Juan 1.
En tanto, no se registraron infectados en Chubut, Entre Ríos, Jujuy, La Pampa, Mendoza, Misiones, Neuquén, Salta, San Juan, San Luis, Santa Cruz, Santa Fe, Santiago del Estero, Tierra del Fuego y Tucumán.
El número total de acumulados por distrito indica que la provincia de Buenos Aires alcanza los 1.924 casos, la Ciudad de Buenos Aires 1.583, Chaco 392, Chubut 4, Córdoba 320, Corrientes 52, Entre Ríos 28, Jujuy y La Pampa 5.
En La Rioja los casos llegan a 58, Mendoza 85, Misiones 25, Neuquén 110, Río Negro 268, Salta 4, San Juan 3, San Luis 11, Santa Cruz 49, Santa Fe 244, Santiago del Estero 15, Tierra del Fuego 145, y Tucumán 41. Catamarca y Formosa siguen sin registrar contagiados con coronavirus. Además, se incluyen 13 casos en Tierra del Fuego correspondientes a las Islas Malvinas, según información de prensa debido a que por la ocupación ilegal del Reino Unido, Gran Bretaña e Irlanda del Norte no es posible contar con información propia sobre el impacto del Covid -19 en esa parte del territorio argentino.
